We are opening our office June 1st for parents who wish to resume in-person therapy. Teletherapy services will continue to be available for any family wanting to stay at home.
We will be following CDC guidelines in order to reduce the risk of Covid19 transmission. Be advised though that despite adherence to the CDC guidelines the risk of COVID-19 exposure cannot be eliminated. Therefore, we highly recommend that parents and children with significant underlying health conditions and concerns continue to be seen via teletherapy.
In order to help decrease the spread of Covid19 we ask that: · Parents and children refrain from coming to our office if they have or recently had symptoms such as severe headache, nausea or vomiting, muscle or body aches, sore throat, chills, fever, pink eye, loss of smell/taste, cough, or shortness of breath.
· Upon arrival, parents are asked to text or call their therapist. Your therapist will check you in “curbside” and escort you into the building. During curbside check-in your therapist may ask some simple screening questions regarding your child’s health and family’s risk of COVID-19 exposure.
· If you are not coming into the session with your child, it is advised that you wait outside of the building on-premises. If you will be sitting in the waiting room, please let us know so that we can adjust the schedule accordingly to ensure social distancing.
· Please cancel your in-office therapy visit if you, your child, or a close family member have been exposed to or diagnosed with COVID-19. Teletherapy services are always available.
Additionally, the following steps are being taken: · We are staggering therapy sessions to allow more time for families to transition in and out of the building. · Therapists will begin and end sessions with hand-washing using soap and water with your child. · Therapy materials, tables, chairs, and doorknobs will be disinfected after each client. · Therapy Staff are taking their temperatures at the beginning of each work day and following all Social Distancing guidelines when possible. · You may see us wearing a face covering and/or a face shield.
We continue to closely monitor the situation and our top priority is always the safety of your family, children, and our employees.
